Abstract Floral Collage

Sharon Sycamore is excited to be offering her first abstract collage floral workshop at The Rickyard Gallery this September.
The workshop will focus on mixed-media, blending acrylic paints with collage papers to create engaging and emotive
contemporary pieces. Each participant will create their own unique piece that will be mounted at the end of the session.
If you love working with paper and glue then this workshop is a must.

Liz Mclelland

Wildlife artist Liz McLelland’s ceramic sculptures are rooted in close observation of wildlife.

The third of Liz’s workshops is this stunning  hare’s head that hangs on the wall. Through the day, she will guide you step by step through the process as you learn hand-building techniques that will breathe life into the clay. You'll see the character of your charming creation emerge over the course of the day as you refine and add texture to your design.

Join Alicia and create an expressive oil landscape painting with
metallic oil accents! Attendees will learn how to use oil paints
and create a loose and expressive landscape. We will begin by
preparing the canvas and learning how to use size.

Catherine Nicholson

Feeding time with Catherine Nicholson
Join us for a full day workshop, where we will create a painting capturing the cheeky character of these beautiful little Blue-tits.

We will be building many layers of paint and collage to create a joyful image to take home. If you have some patterned tissue paper or paper napkins that you
think might work please feel free to bring them.

Debs Davis

Stitched vessels with Debs Davis
This workshop is suitable for beginners. 
We will use simple stitching & scraps of fabric to make a vessel. Time permitting, we will add embellishments, such as lace, buttons, fabric and printed words.

23rd October 10am-4pm £95
All materials included and light refreshments.
